Completed. I tried something different, where I did not water down the black underpaint of the canvas and just went thicker so as to keep the brush stroke. It worked for a fuller effect.

Painting the second color on the canvas. It is often the greatest sense of joy putting that second color on - transforms the entire painting from what it was to what it could be. Often uncertain of the combined color effect, allow chance and intuition to lead.
